In 2017, Mathmos released the elegant Neo Wall-mounted Lava Lamp, and I was tasked with designing a branded cord management accessory to be included with every lamp.

The result was the "Wall Boss," a versatile solution for organizing the cord. It offers two installation options: users can fix it to the wall using the supplied 3M adhesive pad for a quick and easy setup, or secure it more permanently with a single screw for greater stability. This dual approach was designed to accommodate both convenience-focused users and those seeking maximum security.

The Wall Boss also allows for creativity in cord arrangement. Users can position the bosses to create playful, curvy designs with the lead or use them to pull the cord straight down for a clean and tidy appearance. The flexibility ensures the accessory enhances both function and style.
