Recycled Pulp Concept
Mathmos
This concept explored the use of moulded pulp packaging as an alternative to Polystyrene or Foam for nesting a lamp. This particular kind of moulded pulp is made from old newspapers & It doesn’t contribute to landfill and can be simply recycled using the local council recycling scheme or even composted at home. Even in production the offcut waste can be recycled and used to make more moulded pulp products. It is in this way that moulded pulp contributes to a circular economy & moves towards a more sustainable future.
